just rp it: one more time

how to play.1. Drop a comment with one or more of your muses. It can be empty if you want me to make a scenario, or you can toss one at me. Prompts are boss. (a word, song, lyric, picture, phrase, a meme prompt, anything). Specify if there's something you do or don't want, otherwise I could throw anything at you: AUs, shippiness, awfulness. You've been warned, son.
1b. If you want to continue a verse we started in another thread somewhere, specify it in the comment or subject line.
2. In the subject line, you can specify any of my muses you might want to play with (including OCs, who have their own list), or you can ask me to pick someone. No muses are off-limits. Otherwise, I'll pick or randomize someone.
Don't be afraid to ask for anybody - if I'm not feeling it, I'll be honest.
2b. Muses I would really love to play right now, in case you are having a hard time choosing:
Peter Quill, Dean Winchester, Tony Stark, Lois Lane, Regina Mills, Phil Coulson, Cordelia Chase, John Constantine, Pepper Potts, Lucifer. Also voicetesting Jack Harkness...
3. just rp with me. if something jives really well, maybe we can continue it in another one of these later, sort of like a super casual verse. if it doesn't, it doesn't.

specifically, it's a very exclusive retreat in nepal, where a bunch of really famous science and tech people from around the world who are movers and shakers and billionaires are gathered for a conference on clean energy, which is how tony stark netted an invite. while he would have been happy to skype in, when the avengers discovered rumors of a potential unscheduled interruption to the event in the form of some terrorist organization plotting to steal some of the newly unveiled technology, he decided it was probably wise to make an appearance. and bring along some back-up, who might actually be able to blend into a crowd.
that's why nat is his "date" to the festivities, which take place in a mountaintop resort that is a combination of beautiful tibetan architecture and... strangely state of the art technology. guests mill about the location as they make their way, both looking swank as all get out, and making their way through an initial lap of schmoozed greetings from tony to the people he recognizes (and those who simply recognize him). he keeps each encounter fleeting with his trademark dismissive wit, and his voice drops a little low as they finally break into enough of a gap as they turn to examine some art on the wall where he's pretty sure no one can overhear them ] I spy with my little eye... absolutely nothing out of the ordinary. I hope they're at least having Dhindo Thali so we can say it was worth the trip.

[ She casually takes sip of her champagne, apparently studying the piece of art in front of her with great interest. While listening to at least three conversations happening in their near vicinity. Currently dressed in a white gown, she stands out less than she could have, but she's also here to be Tony's arm candy and backup, so she's using the opportunities she has to observe and listen when she does manage to go unnoticed. ]
I don't know about out-of-the-ordinary, but there's plenty entertaining happening. Clearly, I have to teach you how to do this better.
