how to play.

1. Drop a comment with one or two of your muses. If you have an idea for a scenario, you can toss one at me. Prompts are boss. (a gif, song, lyric, picture, phrase, hipster quote, anything). Specify if there's something you do or don't want, otherwise I could throw anything at you: AUs, shippiness, awfulness. You've been warned, son.
1b. If you want to continue a verse we started in an old rp post or from CR we had in a game, specify it in the comment or subject line. I'd be down for revisiting any of those.

2. In the subject line, you can specify any of my muses you might want to play with (including OCs), or you can ask me to pick someone. No muses are off-limits except for those that have no icon uploaded on the list. Otherwise, I'll pick or randomize someone.   
2b.  Muses I would really really like to play at this exact moment, in case you're having a hard time choosing, are:  Sydney Bristow, Selina Kyle, Thor, Robin Scherbatsky, Pepper Potts, Belle, Regina Mills, Lois Lane, Jaime Lannister, Jacen Solo, Bobby Singer, Selene, Fox Mulder, Rogue, Wolverine, Darla, Max Guevara, Daisy Adair, Wonder Woman, maybe more shitty attempts at Damon Salvatore, Aurelian Greyfire (OC).  And Phil Coulson, who I don't have a journal yet for.  But WILL.  When AOS gives me a good username.

These aren't the only ones I will or want to play with, so don't worry if you pick someone else.  I just have a hankering for these guys.

3. just rp with me. if something jives really well, maybe we can continue it in another one of these later, sort of like a super casual verse. if it doesn't, it doesn't.

[It had started out simple -- or as simple as anything ever is in her life. Wesley had been possessed by something, had attacked her, and she had been trying to find a way to help her friend. But the more she worked with Mulder the more complicated everything got.

She definitely didn't expect things to lead back to the government. Or you know, aliens. She had figured it was a weird demon thing but she supposes it doesn't really matter what you call it.

No mater what, it's still bad news.

Speaking of bad news, Cordelia is chained up and struggling against her restraints futily.

Damnit, she is not going to end up another victim of this stuff. This is not what's supposed to happen. This can't be how it ends.]

[ the hand that grabs her, wraps around her mouth suddenly, is connected only to a shadow of a figure, which has a startling, somewhat terrifying effect. but moments later, she hears a familiar voice whisper in her ear: ] It's me.

[Cordelia's about to let out one of her patented screams when she hears the familiar voice.

Oh thank god.

She really didn't want to become sort of icky oil brained slave.]

[ his pocket knife yanks through her bonds, even as he keeps one eye on the approaching scientists. ] We can't waste time. C'mon. [ he pulls on her wrist gently but firmly, as the person beside her struggles against their grips ]

[She glances back at the other people, uneasy about leaving them behind.]

We can't just leave them here.

We can't help them. The best thing we can do is live to get out of here... to find out who's doing this and stop them.

[visiongirl]

That doesn't seem good enough. [She knows he's probably right -- but it still doesn't sit well with her.]

If we stay, we both will get killed - or worse. I didn't come all this way just to lose you here.

I know. [She sighs because this is the best solution they got -- it just isn't a very good one.]

Fine. Lead the way.

[ he pulls her low, crouching as they run along the rows of crying victims. they cut down a hallway, dark and ominous. ]

[She carefully follows him down the hallway, trying her best not to pay too much attention to the crying victims -- which is easier said than done.]
