how to play.

1. Drop a comment with one or more of your muses. It can be empty if you want me to make a scenario, or you can toss one at me. Prompts are boss. (a word, song, lyric, picture, phrase, a meme prompt, anything). Specify if there's something you do or don't want, otherwise I could throw anything at you: AUs, shippiness, awfulness. You've been warned, son.
1b. If you want to continue a verse we started in another thread somewhere, specify it in the comment or subject line. 

2. In the subject line, you can specify any of my muses you might want to play with (including OCs, who have their own list), or you can ask me to pick someone. No muses are off-limits. Otherwise, I'll pick or randomize someone.
Don't be afraid to ask for anybody - if I'm not feeling it, I'll be honest.

alright, coming at you hard with that mortal instruments au, wherein mary winchester actually is a ~shadowhunter~ who for various purposes ran away from the life and raised a family outside of it all, which led to the winchesters, who are now part shadowhunter and therefore have the Sight. when mary was killed by a demon, john started researching other ways to fight demons, etc. and so that's been their life, defined outside of the traditions of shadowhunter society and probably only vaguely aware of it, if at all. until today, when sam goes to track a demon down an alleyway and instead finds himself watching a girl clad in a tight white leather skirt murdering the thing with a whip that crackles with silver-white light. her movements are practically those of a dancer as she winds the whip around her wrist, where it transforms into a bracelet, and she doesn't seem to give a single fuck that he's standing down the alleyway looking her way.

mostly because... she assumes he can't see her... ]

He comes to a quick halt at the sight, watching with almost confused fascination, starting to walk towards her as he's sliding his knife into its sheath on his belt. He doesn't need it now that the situation has apparently been taken care of.]

Not too often I have someone doing my job for me.

[His eyes fall to the brands on her skin, dark against her pale complexion; they're both beautiful and alien to him.]

[ she turns and does a double take because of both the look on his face, the thing he just said, and the... tall drink of water who just said it. hello.

she looks tense, but not afraid, as she gives him the once-over ] Your job?

Yeah, my job. You know...hunting those things.

[He gestures vaguely toward the remains of what she's already managed to do with apparent ease.]

Looks like it's yours, too.

[He tilts his head slightly.]

[Like his mother was before she died. It's the only thing that even remotely makes sense, but he's never met one before.]
