how to play.

2.  In the subject line, you can specify any of my muses you might want to play with, or you can ask me to pick someone.  No muses are off-limits except for those that have no icon uploaded on the list.  If you leave it to me, it is likely that I will give you someone I haven't tried yet, haven't tried much, or haven't played in a long while.

Birth records place this woman, Katerina Petrova, in Bulgaria in the late 15th century. Shipping manifests from the same period trace a woman with her name to England. Her entire family was killed back in Bulgaria within that same year, though the cause of their death was not recorded.

Almost four hundred years later, another young woman, going by the name Katherine Pierce moved to a town called Mystic Falls, right here in the United States.

[ He pauses, for effect and to continue trying to read so much as a facial tic off the man. ]

I think you know as well as I do what the connection was between these two women.

[Elijah was impressed, which was sort of a feat in and of itself. Obviously this man knew more than he was letting on. Otherwise, he would never have made the connection between Katerina and Elijah at all.

For all that he'd been able to dig up, however, Elijah had to wonder whether or not Mulder was extremely calculating or extremely stupid reckless. To know of his nature, yet still approach him in such a manner...

[It wasn't, really. Elijah could easily compel him or worse. It would more than likely default to the "worse," because Mulder had been able to learn enough about Elijah to track him down. It's likely that he was already familiar with the protective properties of vervain as well.]

Do you know where she is?

[Because if Elijah was even going to entertain the idea of working with this man to a similar end, he wanted to be certain that he would benefit from the alliance somehow.]
