how to play.
1.  Drop a comment with one or more of your muses.  It can be empty if you want me to make a scenario, or you can toss one at me.  If you want to just give me a prompt (a word, song, lyric, picture, phrase, anything), I can riff off that too.
2.  In the subject line, you can specify any of my muses you might want to play with, or you can ask me to pick someone.  No muses are off-limits except for those that have no icon uploaded on the list.  If you leave it to me, it is likely that I will give you someone I haven't tried yet, haven't tried much, or haven't played in a long while.
3.  just rp with me.  if something jives really well, maybe we can continue it in another one of these later, sort of like a super casual verse.  if it doesn't, it doesn't.

[She lifts an eyebrow, leaning back in the chair she'd been seated at. The cheap table that she'd had her elbow resting on keeps wobbling. She's ten minutes away from being annoyed enough to do something about it.]

There's a karaoke bar up the road. Wanna go?

[ his eyebrow climbs halfway up his face, as he regards her with the winchester patented 'seriously?' expression ]

You and karaoke?

[She shrugs up one shoulder, sitting up straighter and letting both of her palms find purchase on the center of the wooden seat, pitching her body forward a bit with a lean.]

You wanted different, something that isn't work? Why not go watch people more drunk than you sign horrible 80s songs they don't know the words to?

[ he hesitates. no matter what he might have been bitching about two seconds ago, not spending time working towards what they've been doing feels like--

he shakes those thoughts off for the time being. ]

[She grins, pushing up from the chair she'd been perched on and heads to the door. The scene fades to black, pushing in on the shot of her hand reaching for the door. As the scene fades in, the camera pulls out from a close-up of an empty beer being put back down onto a table. The sound pulls slightly when they enter, but the out of focus bar seems busy for this time of night. A skinny girl is at the mic singing Jewel's "Hands" as if her life depends on it.

Ruby leans over to Sam, smirking.]

Think I can get her to sing "Who Will Save Your Soul" next?

[ sam shoves both his hands in his pockets - not out of discomfort at the familiar bar scene, but at the awkward feeling of being out ~for relaxation~ or whatever this is. distraction, more like. ] I think the irony might get lost on her.

True. [She slides her arm into the crook of his and tries to lead him over to the bar.]

Let's get you drunk, Sam. It'll take -- what? Two beers? [She's teasing, but really how can a guy this tall have such a tiny alcohol tolerance.]

[ instaflashbacks to his hard drunken life immediately post-dean's death. welp. ]

Maybe a couple more than that.

Then let's get started. [Scanning the room, she finds a booth in the corner and slides on in. The waitress is already making her way over and Ruby starts them off with something hard. It's liquor then beer, in the clear - right?]

[ he stares at the bottle for a long moment, before opening it up. ] Do you ever do this?

Drink? [She's pretty sure he doesn't mean drink.]
