just rp it.

how to play.
1.  Drop a comment with one or more of your muses.  It can be empty if you want me to make a scenario, or you can toss one at me.  If you want to just give me a prompt (a word, song, lyric, picture, phrase, anything), I can riff off that too.
2.  In the subject line, you can specify any of my muses you might want to play with, or you can ask me to pick someone.  No muses are off-limits except for those that have no icon uploaded on the list.  If you leave it to me, it is likely that I will give you someone I haven't tried yet, haven't tried much, or haven't played in a long while.
3.  just rp with me.  if something jives really well, maybe we can continue it in another one of these later, sort of like a super casual verse.  if it doesn't, it doesn't.

because arden tags are so exciting

[ just like in a sitcom or something, mara and natasha were sent to assassinate the same dude. in fact, the mission was going pretty swimmingly for mara, who'd made her way into the embassy via a complicated combination of disguises, system overrides, and duct crawling, and she'd managed to make it into the governor's own private office. all she'd have to do is wait for him.

of course, that was just expecting things to go too smoothly. because suddenly there's someone else entering the room... from the same duct she'd come out of.

she swings her gun up instantly. not that she really needs it... but it tends to send a message that makes people think twice about whatever they're about to do next. ]

Don't move.

omg my star wars girlfriend

[ Natasha gives her a sardonic look at that; she's literally nearly completely out of the vent, and she doesn't plan on dangling. But once her feet touch floor, she lifts her gloved hands skywards in the universal sign for don't shoot, her eyebrow cocked. ]

Well this is awkward.

[ It's not that she hadn't been expecting this from about the moment she'd found the security cameras already looping on a three second feed, or maybe even when she'd discovered the main lock system overridden with a tiny jammer. But that wasn't going to stop her — she didn't just need to kill the corrupt Imperial, she wanted his knowledge of how to find and navigate the Deep Core. So even though the woman pointing a gun at her has managed to beat her here, that didn't mean Natasha was simply going to give up. She'd been kind of hoping for a man, though. Men were easy prey. Women... all the women she befriends end up dead. ]

[ Natasha folds her arms challengingly, leans back against the wall, as though she's not at gunpoint. ]

[ mara doesn't lower the weapon, but she does keep it aimed with a casual air instead of an overtly demanding one.

the comment makes one thing immediately clear, however: the woman isn't security chasing her down. hmm. ]

Don't tell me.

It's a trap.
