[ Max really can't remember the last time she felt tipsy. Trangenics have plenty of up sides, but a high tolerance for alcohol that renders the word 'drunk' all but meaningless has always been one of the less fun ones. Probably for the best, what with people after her, and a need to stay on her toes, but nights like this one, where the loneliness of her situation is getting to her really just makes it all so annoying.
Luckily, there's hard liquor. And she's been knocking them back all night with the cute guy who she caught a round of pool with here a few nights ago. There's a warmth spreading through her finally, that calls to mind what it's like when her feline instincts take over - but she knows she's not in heat now. There's a different kind of heat to the evening, and as the bartender goes to issue last call, she grabs Tyler's pool cue from his hand, stepping into his space and giving him a less-than-shy once over. ]
Seems a little early to call it a night, don't you think?
