how to play.
1.  Drop a comment with one or more of your muses.  It can be empty if you want me to make a scenario, or you can toss one at me.  If you want to just give me a prompt (a word, song, lyric, picture, phrase, anything), I can riff off that too.
2.  In the subject line, you can specify any of my muses you might want to play with, or you can ask me to pick someone.  No muses are off-limits except for those that have no icon uploaded on the list.  If you leave it to me, it is likely that I will give you someone I haven't tried yet, haven't tried much, or haven't played in a long while.
3.  just rp with me.  if something jives really well, maybe we can continue it in another one of these later, sort of like a super casual verse.  if it doesn't, it doesn't.

Though, if it's my name we're passing out, I'd sincerely consider controlling just what information about my unique talents see the Daily Bugle. [ telepathy would only make him look worse. manipulated by the members of his inner sanctum. which is accurate, of course, but problematic. ]

she lowers the bag to the counter, looking mollified and downright numb at the name. she holds his gaze for a moment, looking shaky and a little vulnerable at the prospect. they're scary. of course they're scary. it's smart to be scared. then, finally, she glances upstairs, then back at edward. ]

I need to tell my dad. [ fuck sandra and lyle tho they don't need to know. ]

You look like you've seen a ghost. [ it's a bad joke. he should know it's not fair to tease her like this, but he does anyway. as the gun lowers, he steps closer to her so that she can get a better look. ] I'm sure you understand why I couldn't call ahead.

[ there's not so much hesitance in his lack of response at first, so much as a desire to make her work for it. he enjoys knowing exactly what she intends, her seductive entreaties that are so familiar after all these long years. his eyes remain half-open, lidded, as he watches her, raising one hand to her cheek, and when he can no longer restrain himself from giving into her enticements, his lips capture hers with a sudden swell of possessive desire. ]

[ his all-too-human eyes lock onto hers, as he wonders if this was a bad idea or not. maybe he should just run for it, but if she's after vamps with a wooden stake, she's going to get an unpleasant surprise fast when she meets the locals.

[ there's a flash of indignant anger that runs through her at his flippant nature, but at the same time, it's so decidedly bruce that it manages to erase in a flash any and all doubts she might harbor over whether it's actually him or some kind of trick. she searches for her words, and finally manages to vocalize a retort. ]
